At first, I struggled with the thought of why anyone would want to listen to me or read my blog post, let alone find a way for me to earn money. One thing that changed for me was discovering the Japanese concept of Ikigai – meaning a reason for being. Ikigai simplified everything and helped me discover my core as a human being.
The biggest challenge when it comes to making money using Pinterest isn't the Pinterest platform itself - we'll cover that in this video. It's finding your Ikigai and allowing it to consume every aspect of your life.
The third step is to create boards on Pinterest that people can easily find. This is where the majority of my Pinterest visitors come from, thanks to the magic of the internet.
The traffic from other people's content is hanging out on my Pinterest for some reason. To fix this, remember the Kagi thing we talked about. You'll have a long list of all your passions. For example, my passion is figuring out ways to make money online for beginners. I'll name it that.
To create a Pinterest pin, go to Canva which is completely free. Click on Create Design and search for "Pinterest Pin". Even if you've never started a blog before, this is how people will find you.
The most advanced way to gain traffic through Pinterest is to use Tailwind Tribes. Start by pinning your pinnable image from your blog posts to relevant tribes that talk about similar things. Using software and services like this will allow you to pin your posts to other tribes which will share your image as well.
The use of leverage on social media platforms like Pinterest can significantly increase your blog's visibility. By showcasing your content to a broader audience, more people are likely to find your blog, driving traffic and ultimately revenue. The goal is to continue using leverage until you garner a few thousand monthly views.
Once you surpass 25,000 views per month, you can apply for Mediavine, which offers a better deal when it comes to generating revenue from ads displayed on your site. Besides ads, there are many other ways you can monetize your Pinterest account directly. So, focus on creating great content, and use leverage to get people to your blog.
It takes a lot of hard work to create the template, but once traction is gained, the possibilities of making a significant income from Pinterest are endless. Some people make up to $10,000 to $30,000 per month from Pinterest alone, which is insane.
